Mehool qualified in 2011 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Guy’s Dental Institute, King’s College London. He has worked in several dental practices in London and as well as having a strong and long-standing relationship with his patients at his practice in Middlesex, he joined King’s Road Dental Practice in 2019. He likes his patients to feel listened to so that he can do everything possible to diagnose their problem and find the most appropriate solution for them. He is also a keen believer in giving patients knowledge of disease prevention to be able to look after their oral health in the long-term as well as the short-term.

He works as a general dentist and has a keen interest in endodontics (root canal treatments), enjoys placing composite (white) fillings and tooth-coloured ceramic onlays as a more conservative option to crowns where the situation permits. He likes treating mild to moderate periodontal (gum) disease non-surgically before it progresses which can often lead to teeth being lost.

In 2017, due to his passion for delivering ethical dentistry in line with modern day medical standards, he enrolled on a year-long training programme to gain a postgraduate certificate in Dental Law and Ethics from the University of Bedfordshire, the only university in the UK that offers the course specific to dentistry. Furthermore, to enhance his clinical knowledge and skills and to formalise his interest in endodontics, in 2018 he began a three-year master’s degree in Endodontics at The Royal London Hospital, Queen Mary University. He is due to complete this qualification in 2021. As well as the additional formal qualifications, Mehool regularly attends study clubs and seminars and is a member of the British Endodontic Society, regularly attending their annual conferences.

Outside of dentistry, Mehool is a keen follower of politics, football and cricket. He attends matches when he can find the time and is England and Manchester United obsessed – just ask his wife!
